HG Bearguy

Bearguy!!!

Bandai HG Bear Guy

I was looking at the wall of gundam model kits at my local hobby store and this one spoke to me. I wanted something that was a little different than the normal robot/mech. This guy fit right in. Especially when I saw that you can make rage out. What can I say... it's fun to make something cute rage :D

Build: 8/10
This is a remold of another HG kit. And some of the parts from that are still there on the runners. Off to the custom parts fodder box they go.The plastic is great and the joints all feel good. However there is an issue with the shoulders. The lighter tan parts do not lock in at all and will spin around. Annoying but not the end of the world. Other than that, not a bad build.

Size: 10/10
This guy is BIG!!! Taller than a lot of other HG kits out there. And he balances out pretty well too. With the added fact of him being yellow, he'll stand out on the shelf.

Bandai HG Bear Guy
Fun: 8/10
Yup, he's fun to mess with and not have to worry about anything breaking and/or falling off. Would score higher if he was able to hold onto weapons.

Extras: 10/10
-He comes with a BIG poseable pink bow that goes unto his back. (Which I decided not to build)
-A couple of short beam sabers
-Sticker sheet to change out the eyes (Though the static eyes are mold into one plastic face plate)
-Two face plates. You can pop off one plate with the normal eyes or go with the rage eyes. Though they give you stickers, the eyes are really molded in in the plastic panels. And to swap out those panels is very easy and clean.
(Sidenote: the bear sticker on his chest is not included. I got that from a random sticker sheet. The red in the mouth is painted. It's a grey piece. )
